Work Environment Officer to the Regiment Staff's HR Section

The position is located at the HR section of the regiment staff. The HR section works consultatively with the regiment's commanders and functional leaders and follows up on operations within HR and systematic work environment efforts.

Main Responsibilities

As a work environment officer, you are responsible for organizing, coordinating, and developing the systematic work environment efforts at the regimental level. You support the regimental management, other commanders, and the safety organization with expertise and in individual work environment issues. The work environment officer serves as Amf 1's contact point within and outside the FM in work environment matters.

Your duties also include being a presenter at the Amf 1 work environment committee, responding to referrals, analyzing work environment-related surveys, and proposing measures. Your tasks also include participating in inspections and controls of operations.

You will train staff throughout the organization in the work environment area, support the handling of work injuries, accidents, and incidents. You will support injury-reducing projects regarding work environment at Amf 1 and create and ensure the quality of internal routines and controls, as well as documentation in the work environment area.

Qualifications

  • Relevant higher education in the work environment area or other education/experience deemed equivalent by the employer.
  • Good ability to express oneself in speech and writing in Swedish.
  • Good computer skills.
  • Driver's license B.

Meritorious

  • Experience in work environment efforts within the Armed Forces or at larger companies.
  • Good knowledge of law and legislation in the work environment area.
  • Good knowledge of and experience with the Armed Forces' systematic work environment efforts.
  • Good knowledge in systematic fire protection work and chemicals.
  • Good ability to express oneself in speech and writing in English.

As a work environment officer, you enjoy working independently and participating in complex working groups and projects, which requires good collaboration skills. You like to take responsibility, can plan and drive your tasks forward. You are used to working at a varied pace and can prioritize your work according to the situation. You feel secure in your role and can communicate with both large and small groups with different levels of expertise in the subject area. You are service-oriented and flexible towards both internal and external stakeholders. You are meticulous, safety-conscious, and have high integrity. Since the work is surrounded by a lot of administration, you must be able to handle it, sometimes under high pressure. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Having good physical ability and being able to relate to the Armed Forces' physical standards is fundamental to our operations.

Employment Conditions

Employment form: Permanent employment starting with a six-month probationary period.

Employment degree: Full-time

Work location: Haninge Garrison.

Start date: As soon as possible, by agreement.

The Stockholm Amphibious Regiment (Amf 1) operates where water meets land and serves as the link between naval and army combat forces. Fast combat boats and hovercraft make the unit agile. Our weapon systems allow us to operate in four dimensions: on and under the water surface, in the air, and on land. Thus, we can exert control over coastal areas.

The unit trains amphibious soldiers, coastal rangers, sailors, and officers in various main services. Amf 1 has production responsibility for the war unit 2nd Amphibious Battalion and 2nd Marine Base Battalion. The unit is based in Haninge (Berga).
